Warranty conditions

We guarantee our weapons against all defects in raw materials or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, with the exception of woods (stock and front) which are not covered by this guarantee.

All our weapons are tested according to CIP standards at the official test bench in St-Etienne and carry the regulatory hallmarks.

Concerning the shooting of steel ball cartridges with our smooth rifles, it is obligatory that the weapon has been previously approved by the test bench by having undergone the specific test indicated on the barrel and tilting it with the “Fleur de Lys” hallmark. If your rifle is equipped with interchangeable chokes, it is also essential to fit only chokes bearing the “Fleur de Lys” stamp.

Our barrels having undergone the regulatory test, our guarantee would not apply in the event of swelling or bursting, as these are generally caused by an overpressure due to a fortuitous cause.

Within the framework of the guarantee, we undertake to repair or possibly replace according to our choice, exclusively in our workshops, any parts which prove to be defective, provided however that this is not due to normal wear and tear caused by negligence or to the alteration of parts due to repairs carried out by unauthorised persons. The rifle must be returned at the sender’s expense to the Chapuis Armes company together with the guarantee.

No other explicit or implicit guarantee other than the one provided for in the present guarantee conditions is granted.

The company Chapuis Armes cannot be held responsible for damage caused by a malfunction or misuse of the weapon.

The guarantee is only valid for the original purchaser who must fill in the paper or online guarantee form in order to benefit from it.

Any dispute of any nature whatsoever and regardless of the place of delivery will be the exclusive competence of the Commercial Court where Chapuis Armes has its registered office.
